In last January, my friends and I went to Cibeureum
village for Bakti Desa. In Bakti Desa, we live in villager’s house and help
them to work. We lived there for 3 days and 2 nights.
We went to Cibeureum by angkot, it is 3 hours away
from Bandung. As we arrived there, we went to Balai Desa for opening of this
event. After that, we went to our house. We were separated into some groups. I,
Dara, Amara, and Mine lived in Bu Omah’s house, In the evening, we went to
Mosque around there. We taught and played games with children around there.
After magrib, we went home and ate dinner with our houseparents.
On the second day, we went to the hill for took care
of our parent’s plant. They are farmers. Their land was very far from our
house, but we were very happy. We went back home before Jumat’an. At around 3 o’clock,
we held bazzar that sold clothes and books for free. After that, we played
games with children until at 5. And then, we went to red bridge and ‘bukit
teletubies’. After maghrib, we went home for dinner.
Last day, we went to Situ Cisanti. It is very far
from our village and we went there by foot. But, the scenery was very beautiful
so we forgot about the distance. After that, we went back home and say goodbye
to our houseparents and Cibeureum village.
It was a very valuabe experience. We were very happy
and we would love to come back there.
